Analysis Of Restricted Boltzmann Machines - 763 Words
Analysis of RNNs revealed that the hidden-to-output function, hidden-to-hidden transition, and input-to-hidden function must be made deeper [3]. Based on the following input sequence: x = (x1; : : : ; xT), a standard RNN is responsible for computing the vector sequence: h = (h1; : : : ; hT) as well as the output vector sequence: y = (y1; : : : ; yT) using two equations (depicted below) from t = 1 to T [3]. (1) ht = H(Wxhxt+Whhht-1+bh) (2) yt = Whyht+by H. J. Sentimental Analysis Sentimental analysis tries to figure out how the presenter feels about the subject material being presented. This analysis helps the NLP formulate a more accurate and appropriate response. Many sentimental analyses work by looking at each sentiments of the sentence by giving positive or negative points to each word. Points are then summed up for each sentence and based on that score it is deemed either positive, negative, or neutral. But sentiments are often very subtle and cannot be detected using simple point analysis [1]. To better grasp sentiments in NSL computer scientist once again turned to the deep learning process and developed a tree-structured long short-term memory analysis (LSTM). LSTM combines deep learning with the points system. After the deep learning process has assigned meaning to a word it is given a weight based upon positive or negative feel. Organization Culture is the second concept that plays a vital role in a new communication structure in an organization. No matter what an organizational culture might be, the goals are to work for a common goal and be successful in new communication structures. Our text states ââ¬Å"Organizational culture refers to the cooperatively held underlying beliefs, logics, and legends concerning corporate life that organizational participants learn and use to guide their behaviors. Violation of Human Rights in The Crucible Essay Example For Students
Violation of Human Rights in The Crucible Essay IB English Exam A2 Question #2 : Violations of the Declaration of Human Rights during the Salem Witch Trials During the Salem witch trials, many violations of todays Universal Declaration of Human Rights occurred. Inclusively, some are still being done today. Upon having a victim under an acusation, many articles were not respected. This is shown in the manner in which past time juries treated the accused. In my opinion, the articles that during those times were violated were article four, five, article six, and seventeen. Article four presents the idea of preventing a cruel or unaccepted treatment towards the victim. It reads the following, no one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. During the witch trials in Salem, those who were declared guilty, depending on the charges he/she was accused of, the victim might suffer a punishment of being hanged, and one person suffered being crushed under rocks. If the declaration had been functioning during those past moments, it would have occured, most likely, that the victims of the illegal charge of witchcraft, might have been given a life-time jail sentence and not the death-penalty by being hanged or crushed. Another article that had been clearly violated during the Salem witch trials was article five, which states that everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law. Many thought of the women accused of practicing witchcraft to be diabolic and inhuman ; in fact, they were thought of human figures of the devil. This would clearly interfere with the judges veredict and it would be almost impossible for the victimis to save themselves from being condemned to death. If these victims of whom most were in their late fifties, had been seen as people who are just like us, they would have been saved from such destiny. Article Six is also a great, and maybe the clearest, example to prove the point of violated human rights. This article says all are equal before the law and entitled without any discrimination to equal protection before the law. All are entitled to protection against any discrimination in violation this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination. In the witch trials of Salem, it was perfectly clear that the twenty people that lost their lives were not considered nor treated equally in comparison to the accusers. This occured most obviously because there were no laws that would protect those who had been accused. We can see how unprofessional the system was when the judge told Goody Cloyse to read a passage in the Bible without any mistakes to prove her innocence, and, once she had done so, she was still declared guilty and was sentenced. This article expresses that all people are entitled to protection, but none of the victims of this complot were actually defended nor protected by issues of law and more got saved of the horrible fate others had suffered. Finally, the last article that in my consideration was violated during the Salem Witch Trials is that one referred to as Article 15. This Article says everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression ; this right inclues the freedom to hold opinions without interference. If the victims that were accused of witchcraft had really been witches, they should have been respected as should in their freedom of religion, opinion, and expression. Nowadays, witchcraft is accepted as another religions within many that exist in our modern day societies. Clearly, neither the judges nor the accusers nor the jury accepted this freedom and condemned it with the maximum penalty, death. Perhaps there are many more rights in the Declaration of Human Rights that were also violated during these trials, but the onces that to me are most clear, are the ones dictated and explained. These trials had shown no respect to those victims of these horrible accusations and once condemned, these people had no way of escaping death. Nowadays, some violations are still being perpetrated, but at least our society has laws to prevent these violations and our system has become more fair with the years. .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 , .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .postImageUrl , .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 , .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840:hover , .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840:visited , .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840:active { border:0!important; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840:active , .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840 .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u1162384115604d82ed982f1fc3091840:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Juvenile Psychopaths EssayCategory: English .

geography Essay Example
geography Essay Essay #6- I n todays society there are many people that dont like others religions. This is becoming a huge problem especially in the middle east, were many people are killed every day for no reason. The biggest problem going on right now is the problem between the Israiles. (Jewish people) and the Palastiniens. They both are fighting over land they both call their own holly land, which at this time the Isralians control. However this is not the only problem that this century has had over religions. You might remeber a war called world war II, a war in which was started because a man by the name of Hitler, thought is religion was supreme and called for his country to kill all of the jews that lived on the land he controlled. Some people out there just dont think that other people should follow the believes of another god, in their mind they believe in something we call monotheism, the believe in only one god. More than likely they are not going to like other people who dont believe in their god. Another reason why there is so much intolerance for other religions, is because your religions is pretty much the way of life for most people. For example, some religions believe on praying five to six times a day, while others you dont have to pray at all. And because your religions is a way of life, many people dont think that any other way of life is ok, because that is what they are taught from a very young age. This is the reason why many people dont like Americans, because in their religion and society the women are not allowed to bear any skin, while in our society and most of western religions there is no rules on what women wear. The problem of religions and violence is probley never going to end. I think that the problem with religions and violence is kind of like racism, some people just

Differences Between Compilers and Interpreters
Differences Between Compilers and Interpreters Before the Java and C# programming languages appeared, computer programs were only compiled or interpreted. Languages like Assembly Language, C, C, Fortran, Pascal were almost always compiled into machine code. Languages like Basic, VbScript and JavaScript were usually interpreted. So what is the difference between a compiled program and an Interpreted one? Compiling To write a program takes these steps: Edit the ProgramCompile the program into Machine code files.Link the Machine code files into a runnable program (also known as an exe).Debug or Run the Program With some languages like Turbo Pascal and Delphi steps 2 and 3 are combined. Machine code files are self-contained modules of machine code that require linking together to build the final program. The reason for having separate machine code files is efficiency; compilers only have to recompile source code that have changed. The machine code files from the unchanged modules are reused. This is known as making the application. If you wish to recompile and rebuild all source code then that is known as a Build. Linking is a technically complicated process where all the function calls between different modules are hooked together, memory locations are allocated for variables and all the code is laid out in memory, then written to disk as a complete program. This is often a slower step than compiling as all the machine code files must be read into memory and linked together. Interpreting The steps to run a program via an interpreter are Edit the ProgramDebug or Run the Program This is a far faster process and it helps novice programmers edit and test their code quicker than using a compiler. The disadvantage is that interpreted programs run much slower than compiled programs. As much as 5-10 times slower as every line of code has to be re-read, then re-processed. Enter Java and C# Both of these languages are semi-compiled. They generate an intermediate code that is optimized for interpretation. This intermediate language is independent of the underlying hardware and this makes it easier to port programs written in either to other processors, so long as an interpreter has been written for that hardware. Java, when compiled, produces bytecode that is interpreted at runtime by a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). Many JVMs use a Just-In-Time compiler that converts bytecode to native machine code and then runs that code to increases the interpretation speed. In effect, the Java source code is compiled in a two-stage process. C# is compiled into Common Intermediate Language (CIL, which was previously known as Microsoft Intermediate Language MSIL. This is run by the Common Language Runtime (CLR), part of the .NET framework an environment that provides support services such as garbage collection and Just-In-Time compilation. Both Java and C# employ speedup techniques so the effective speed is almost as fast as a pure compiled language. If the application spends a lot of time doing input and output like reading disk files or running database queries then the speed difference is barely noticeable. What Does this Mean to me? Unless you have a very specific need for speed and must increase the frame rate by a couple of frames per second, you can forget about speed. Any of C, C or C# will provide sufficient speed for games, compilers, and operating systems.

The Black Hawk War in Utah Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
The Black Hawk War in Utah - Essay Example Lyman states that the relationship between the Indians and the white settlers who were mostly Mormons was quite rough (12). Some of the southern Paiutes even converted to Mormonism. However, the Ute Indians had general hostilities with the Mormons and the settlers. During the Black Hawk War, Navajo Indians increased the hostilities by attacking Dixie ranches. Many Mormons and white settlers were killed in inhumane manner. The Indians were ruthless in their attacks. Winkler states that most of the white settlers armed themselves against the Indians and carried out revenge attacks without involving the US government. Indian villages were raided and razed down by church militias. The farms belonging to the Ute Indians were razed down leading to many deaths due to famine between 1866 and 1869. Winkler states that on 18 July 1865, Mormon militias killed tens of Native Americans including women and children (13). Furthermore, the Indians that were captured during cattle raids were exposed to extreme torture methods in order to reveal the place where other tribes were hiding. Lyman further states that Indian warriors captured white traders en route to parts of southern Utah killing them (7). The major causes of the black hawk war were pressure on Indian settlement populations, destruction of ecosystem and Indian subsistence leading to starvation. This was due to white Settlement expansion and latter day saints in open war with Native Americans. Peterson asserts that the major cause of the war was the pressure on Indian tribes in Utah (14). Since 1837, white settlers had been pushing native Indians from their homeland in the native reserve. South Utah was one of the major areas that were affected. The Ute and Navajo who used to plant corn for food were hugely affected as they lost their land to Mormon ranches. The Ute led by a young chief called black Hawk started to carry out attacks on the Mormon settlements in order to steal cattle for their food. Lyman, on the othe r hand states that Mormon militia due to suspicion attacked some Indian tribes that were seen to be friendly to the Mormons in central Utah (19). These include the Koosharen who were commonly known as the horseless Ute. During the black hawk war, there was an emergence of what was commonly referred to as the Frontier justice for those who were thought to have committed crimes, witch-hunts. Lack of federal soldierââ¬â¢s aid to help end the war was due to the inability to differentiate between friendly and enemy Indians. Reeve states that the system of justice in Utah was crucial as a cause of war. Reeve states that the whiteââ¬â¢s had formed a militia in order to protect their interests and deal with conduct amongst themselves administered the system. The justice system during the black hawk war led to white settlers to engage in excess in legal constraints. Indian women and children were also killed after being caught as captives. In addition to this, the legal authority was a ccused of excesses. However, the legal system would let these blatant forms of murder and human rights abuses unpunished. Winkler states that Indians chiefs had their own system of justice. In the case of Joseph and Robert Perryââ¬â¢s murder, Indian chiefs prosecuted the Navajos who had participated in the murder by punishing them (6). However, Winkler states th

The three most inportant gifts i ever received are Essay
The three most inportant gifts i ever received are - Essay Example When I was young I always had the capability to come out as a leader in my class. I used to be the class representative at an age when my group mates were hesitant to come in front of the teacher. I have learned to lead from the front and guide my class mates through everything that they face. The leadership skills I believe have been gifted to me by God himself. Similarly I have also been gifted the capability of being determined in life. Determination is yet another god gifted capability for which I did not have to do much in my life. From an early age I always had this determination in achieving my goals when I set them up. I wanted to clear the subject of mathematics with a good grade and with the right determination and struggle I was able to do so. I believe that this determination would also help me in the future. Determination is the most important gift I ever received from God as I believe that I can be able to achieve almost anything that I require in this world. Starting from my very early life I received a lot of presents from my family members on my birthday but one special gift that I still remember as the best from my childhood was when my grandfather gifted me a watch. A watch seems too ordinary for an important gift but the timing of the gift matters most to me. While gifting me the watch my grandfather said ââ¬Å"Son, always be particular about your timingsâ⬠. Ever since I used that watch to make sure that I was particular about my timings and this has helped me greatly in life. These three gifts have helped me to become a better man in my life. I believe that with these gifts I can make out something good of my life and can achieve anything that I require. Being particular about my timings can help me to set an example for others and the capability to lead can help me to lead other people. Similarly with the determination of my sort I think that I can be able to achieve almost any
